John Daniel DeMarino was last seen on the evening of January 30, 2019, at Uncle Mike’s Bar on Seventh Street in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He was 51 years old at the time. That night, John ordered a beer, drank about half of it, and then walked away from the bar. Staff believed he had simply stepped out for a moment — but he never came back.
At the time of his disappearance, John had been living with his mother in Spencer, West Virginia, following a recent divorce. He was described as a devoted father who stayed in close contact with his two children. His sudden absence, with no phone calls, texts, or attempts to reach out, was deeply out of character.
John had been driving his mother’s silver 2015 Ford Escape that night. A few days later, the vehicle was found abandoned at a truck stop in Conneaut, Ohio, near the Pennsylvania border. The car was unlocked, with a phone charger and some loose change still inside, but there was no trace of John.
Despite ongoing investigations and searches across multiple states, John has never been found. His family continues to hold onto hope that someone, somewhere, may have the information needed to bring him home.
