Bobby Eugene Adams was 31 years old when he disappeared while working an overnight shift for C&H Cab in Charleston, West Virginia. That night, his last known passenger was described as a white man in his forties with blonde hair—a fare who may have been connected to Bobby’s presumed death.
Although Bobby’s body has never been recovered, his cab was found not long after he was reported missing. The evidence inside told a grim story. Investigators at the scene determined that the amount of blood loss made survival unlikely. “People don’t lose that much blood and survive,” Charleston Police Sergeant Bobby Eggleton stated at the time.
Over the years, several persons of interest have been identified, and countless rumors have surfaced about where Bobby’s remains might be. Yet none of the leads have brought the answers his loved ones have been hoping for. The man believed to be Bobby’s final passenger has never been identified, and his case remains unsolved.
