Bonnie Jeanne Hutton was 30 years old when she and her young daughter, Tammy, vanished after leaving Denver, Colorado, in 1969. Bonnie had previously been married to David Gay, with whom she had a daughter, Cynthia, in 1958.Following their divorce, Bonnie married Frank Vitek and gave birth to Tammy in the mid-1960s. The last confirmed contact from Bonnie was a letter sent to her family in 1976 or 1977 from West Virginia. Since then, there have been no verified sightings or communications.
Bonnie's daughter, Cynthia, who was adopted by relatives at a young age, has spent years searching for answers about her mother's and half-sister's disappearances. Despite her efforts, including submitting DNA for comparison with unidentified remains, no matches have been found, and the circumstances surrounding Bonnie and Tammy's disappearances remain a mystery.
