Opal Darlene Fleshman, who often went by her middle name Darlene, was last seen on September 8, 2012, at the Apple Valley Motel in Roanoke, Virginia. Originally from Monroe County, West Virginia, Darlene had traveled to Roanoke, but something happened along the way and she never made it back home.
Her personal belongings were found left behind at the motel, but Darlene herself was gone. At the time of her disappearance, she may have been driving a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier with West Virginia license plates (6UR344). Both West Virginia and Virginia authorities have been involved in the search for her, but to this day, her whereabouts remain unknown.
Darlene’s case remains open, and the hope for answers continues.
