Marshall “Andy” Priestley II was last seen on February 29, 2016, after spending time visiting family in the Cross Lanes area of Kanawha County, West Virginia. He was 39 years old, just a few days away from celebrating his 40th birthday.
Those who knew Andy remember him as a man full of life and passion, especially when it came to music. His love for the Grateful Dead showed through in the tattoos he proudly wore. He was also a father to four children and was looking forward to becoming a grandfather for the first time.
When Andy didn’t call his mother on his birthday, something he had always done without fail, alarm bells immediately rang. His family reported him missing on March 16, 2016. A few months later, a fire destroyed Andy’s home on Christian Drive. While the timing raised questions, it’s still unknown whether the fire is connected to his disappearance.
Despite the passing years, Andy’s family continues to search for answers, holding on to hope that the truth will one day come to light.
