Dee Ann Keene was last seen on February 28, 2014, on Leonard Long Road in Renick, West Virginia. At the time, she was 43 years old. Her disappearance was reported on March 5, 2014, and has since been considered suspicious by authorities.
Dee Ann was last known to be at a residence on Leonard Long Road in Renick, which was not her home. According to reports, she was in the company of Ronald Ray McMillion and two other individuals. Witnesses stated that McMillion was heavily impaired and at one point threatened Dee Ann, firing a pistol near her head. The other individuals left the residence, urging Dee Ann to come with them, but she declined. She has not been seen or heard from since.
In February 2023, McMillion was indicted for Dee Ann's murder. However, in November 2024, the charge was dismissed without prejudice due to conflicting witness statements and lack of physical evidence, meaning the case can be reopened if new information emerges.
