Bettina was reportedly wearing a black top and black shorts at the time of her disappearance. She has not been seen or heard from since.

The day before Bettina went missing, she appeared in Berkeley County Magistrate Court on felony charges, including grand larceny, fleeing with reckless indifference, and battery on a government representative. Following her release, it is believed that Bettina was in the Grapevine Road area of Martinsburg, where the Eastern Regional Jail is located, and was last seen in that area on foot.
