Steven Wayne Berry was 22 years old when he went missing from Fairmont, West Virginia, on July 24, 1986. At the time, Steven was a senior at Fairmont State College, actively involved in campus life as a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and serving as a senior senator in the student government. He was known for his dedication to his studies and his vibrant presence on campus.

On the day of his disappearance, Steven left his apartment near the college just before 2:00 p.m., intending to pick up his final paycheck from a part-time job. He never returned, and his absence was immediately concerning to those who knew him. Later that same day, his car was discovered parked at the Pittsburgh International Airport, approximately 100 miles from Fairmont. There was no evidence to suggest that Steven had boarded a flight, and it's unclear how his vehicle ended up at the airport.

Despite extensive investigations and public appeals over the years, no confirmed sightings or contact have been made since Steven vanished. His case remains unsolved, and few details have been publicly released. Authorities have indicated that foul play is suspected, and while there are persons of interest, no charges have been filed.
