Catherine B. McMillion
Catherine B. McMillion was 58 years old when she went missing from Seneca Rocks, West Virginia, on November 4, 1985. She was last seen that day during the catastrophic Flood of 1985, a natural disaster that devastated much of West Virginia and surrounding areas.
According to reports, Catherine was swept away by floodwaters after falling into a swollen stream. Despite immediate search efforts and extensive recovery operations in the days and weeks that followed, her body was never found. Although it is presumed that she drowned during the flooding, Catherine remains officially listed as a missing person.

Behind the Scenes of the Project
FOIA requests have been submitted to the FBI and West Virginia State Police. WVSP stated they do not have any documentation on Catherine and that a request should be sent to the FBI due to them being the main investigative agency. The FBI responded to our request stating they had no documentation pertaining to Catherine or to the 1985 Flood.
